Cycling is a fun and exciting activity where your child will learn a valuable life skill. In the winter, sessions take place at the Lee Valley Velopark at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. This is a fantastic modern venue where your child will enjoy working their way through the various levels as they make progress and move from standard bikes with stabilizers to balancing bikes.

In the summer, we take the children to the outdoor cycling track at Finsbury Park. The venue has a range of specialised and regular bikes available so all children, regardless of their disability, can participate.

With the 1:1 support in place, we will help your child master this skill and become more independent. Many families have told us that they can now go cycling together as a family in the park, because their disabled child can now cycle- something they were unable to do in the past.
